Dank der Einladung des American Institute for Contemporary German Studies der Johns Hopkins University in Washington D.C. konnte der AAU e.V. eine Woche am Programm “Integrating Migrants into the workforce” in Charlotte, North Carolina, teilnehmen. Auf dem Programm standen Besuche bei Betrieben sowie bei Institutionen aus den Bereichen Bildung, Migration und Existenzgründung und ein reger Gedankenaustausch der Teilnehmer.

Thanks to an invitation from the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies of the Johns Hopkins University in Washington D.C., the AAU e.V. had the possibility to participate at the “Integrating Migrants into the workforce” programme in Charlotte, North Carolina. The programme included the visit of enterprises and institutions from the fields of education, migration and business start-ups and an active exchange of ideas of the participants.
